Teas, lunch and a light evening finger supper will be provided.

PROGRAMME

Each oral presentation is limited to a short 8-10 minute oral presentation followed by a 2-3 minute Q&A time
Each poster presentation will be a short 4 minute presentation and 1 minute Q&A time (subject to change, depending on the number of participants).
The presentation of poster session is planned immediately after the lunch.
Two parallel oral sessions are planned (Biotechnology and Biodiversity/Ecology). Participants wishing to present a paper are requested to submit the abstract of their talk according to the prescribed format to Mrs. S. Chetram chetramu@ukzn.ac.za only by e-mail. (contact for submission guidelines)

Powerpoint facilities will be provided for oral presentations.
You are also encouraged to submit an abstract for presentation which has already been presented in a local or international conference as an oral or poster presentation since 2012 School of Life Science Research Day. Submission of a completed registration form with your abstract is mandatory. Please indicate on the registration form whether you wish to make an oral presentation or want to display a poster, so that the program can be organized accordingly.

The DEADLINE for the submission of abstract with registration form is 30 September 2013 and registration deadline for attendance only or cancelation is Friday 18 October 2013.
