The School is multidisciplinary with a strong research profile and modern postgraduate research programmes. The incumbent will be expected to teach in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, especially in Animal Developmental Biology. S/he will be expected to make valuable contribution to teaching and research in the various aspects of the life sciences programmes, as well as in curriculum development.

The incumbent will report to the relevant Academic Leader.

Minimum Requirements :

A MSc degree by research in Biology or a related field
Two years post Masters research experience
Current research activity as evidenced by a quality publication in a peer reviewed journal
Experience in teaching/tutoring in  a relevant field at a tertiary level
The successful candidate will be expected to complete a PhD within 5 years from date of assumption of duty.
