Corrosion School / Workshop: 27-28 July

A Corrosion School / Workshop focused on Electrochemical Measurement Techniques is intended for graduate students, researchers working and industrial personnel focusing on corrosion related research. The School will be held immediately prior to the Congress and will provide theory sessions as well as extended hands-on practical sessions to ensure that delegates gain exposure in “why” electrochemical techniques should be used, “how to” obtain useful electrochemical measurements and “how to” interpret them meaningfully. A maximum of 40 delegates can be accommodated to ensure maximal individual attention.

AfriCORR 2014 Congress 28-30 July

The Congress will be jam packed with interesting papers and posters highlighting African corrosion problems and successful African solutions. Proceeding will be interspersed with delectable teas and lunches, dynamic discussions and delicate participation.  The African flavour of the welcome function and cocktail party will ensure the African ambiance permeates the proceedings.

Exhibition: 28-30 July

The exhibition will be an integral part of the activities. The exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for organisations to come face to face with delegates, providing a market place to increase your organisation's visibility and to showcase and demonstrate your products and services.

Social and Networking Activities 27-31 July

Through out the Congress, events and activities will be arranged for the delegates and sponsors to not only get to know one another, but to experience the delights Africa can offer.
