The scientific meeting welcomes abstracts on the following sessions:

-CLIMATE 
Climate variations and meteorology
Modelling forecast (meteorological, pollutants transports …)
Changes in frequency and intensity of extreme events 

-MOUNTAIN ECOSYSTEMS
Effects of climate changes on mountain ecosystems
Conservation of biodiversity and of natural resources
Natural resource preservations: needs and ongoing activities 

-CRYOSPHERE
Effects of climate changes on snow and ice covers 
Glaciological Paleoclimatic studies 
Permafrost amount and water availability

-WATER
Hydrological regimes and water quantity
Water quality in lacustrine ecosystems
Water resources and climate changes

-ENVIRONMENTAL and SOCIO – ECONOMIC IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE
Current knowledge and recent events
Possible solution for prevention and mitigation actions

All contributions will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee which
selects the best abstracts, and relative posters will be shown during the
conference. For each session, the best poster will be evaluated and the author
will have the possibility to present his work through a short oral presentation.
