Job Title: Environmental Consultant Location: Hilton, KZN An opportunity exists for an Environmental Consultant to provide support on SLR projects. Responsibilities will include assistance to senior consultants with environmental impact assessment processes and reporting, public participation, authority consultation and project administration. The person should have the ability to carry out instructions, problem solve where appropriate, work as part of a team and independently.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Sc. (Hons) in Environmental or Natural sciences (Environmental Sciences, Botany, Ecology, Zoology and similar).

• Graduate to 3 years work experience, preferably in the environmental field.

• Must be bilingual

• Proficient in Word and Excel

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.

• Must be willing to travel.

• Sound writing and communication skills

Attributes:

• Must be self-motivated and organized.

• Must be capable of working under senior personnel on a wide range projects.

• A mature attitude with a passion for environmental management will need to be demonstrated.
