The individual should have expert knowledge of East African livestock systems and experience in restoration and avoided degradation of rangeland/grazing areas. Specifically, the individual will work with other team members in identifying feasible opportunities for: incorporating and scaling-up sustainable rangeland management approaches into the Lake Victoria Basin, including supportive measure (research, training, etc); explore options for a ‘ridge to lake’ monitoring system, including data and capacity development needs.
