GAY LANGMUIR BURSARY FOR WILDLIFE RESEARCH 2014

Applications are invited from the post-graduate students registered at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in the field of wildlife and conservation biology and its closely-related sub-disciplines.

The bursary is granted on the basis of academic merit and financial need. The value of the award varies according to merit, needs and availability of funds. The bursary is for maintenance of full-time or part-time students. Funds are limited and are regarded as being supplementary to other forms of funding. Grants are usually most successful at the onset or completion of a project and cannot be guaranteed in successive years. Publication of the results of the research projects is strongly encouraged.

Applications must be typed and submitted using the application form. Please read the application guidelines to determine whether your project qualifies for funding. In addition to this application, you are required to complete a UKZN bursary application form. Application forms and guidelines may be obtained from Mrs Natalie Jones,
(033) 260 5525, jonesn@ukzn.ac.za in the School of Life Sciences, Pietermaritzburg.

The completed forms should be submitted via email to Mrs N Jones
(jonesn@ukzn.ac.za) by Friday, 14 March 2014.

No late applications will be considered
