ROUTE: Kimberley – Mattanu Game Ranch – Kimberley - Mokala National Park – Witsand Nature Reserve

Day One
• Arrive in Kimberley Kimberley is the capital and only city in the Northern Cape Province. Kimberley is in the centre of South Africa and also known as the Diamond City.
• .Visit The Big Hole, Kimberley The magnicent era of Diamond Discovery in Kimberley is brought back to life. Take a walk down cobble stoned memory lane and relive the 19th Century with its fascinating building. Enjoy an unforgettable underground experience.
• Depart for Mattanu Game Ranch This four star luxury tented accommodation boasts over 36 species, including rare species like Roan and Sable Antelope. Mattanu operates one of the few privately owned disease free buffalo breeding projects.
• Arrive and enjoy a light lunch.
• Relax in the African Kalahari Bushveld Savannah amidst the camel-thorn tree and enjoy dinner.
• Overnight

Day Two
• Enjoy breakfast
• Transfer back to Kimberley
• Travel to Kamfers Dam to view the Flamingos Kamfers Dam, frequented by the largest permanent population of Lesser Flamingos in southern Africa. Africa’s only artificial flamingo breeding island, and a variety of other interesting waterbirds, such as Black-necked Grebe and Chestnut-branded Plover.
• Enjoy a light lunch at Lemon Tree
• Depart for Mokala National Park The grassy plains studded with Camelthorn trees are the new home to endangered species. Temperamental black rhino as well as white rhino, elusive roan antelope, and cape buffalo amongst many other mammals roam freely amongst the rocky hillocks. The two lodges in the park host a total of sixty guests. Both lodges have restaurant and conference facilities.

• Dinner
• Overnight at Mokala National Park

Day Three
• Enjoy early morning breakfast
• Return to Kimberley
• Depart for Witsand Nature Reserve This reserve is a scenic park, teeming with birdlife. Twenty to sixty metre high flowing white dunes are cradled by contrasting red Kalahari sand, the Langberg Mountains and Camelthorn woodlands. In summer the dunes utter definite rumbling sounds when disturbed and are referred to as “Brulsand” or “Roaring Sands”. The reserve offers ten luxury air-conditioned lodges as well as a well laid out electrified campsite.
• Arrive at Witsand and check in
• Enjoy a light lunch
• Freshen up and relax
• Enjoy the afternoon visiting the dunes and the various sites.
• Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day Four
• Breakfast
• Return to Kimberley and depart for destination
